Magnus and his family are organic farmers doing their bit for biodiversity at the foot of the Howgill Fells in Cumbria's Upper Eden Valley. As a small traditional hill sheep farm, they have plans to a adopt regenerative grazing strategy to improve the farm soil and biodiversity whilst capturing more carbon. Tiyeni's approach to teaching regenerative farming techniques in Malawi inspired this family to come up with a scheme to assist Tiyeni in its objectives.
They offered to raise funds for Malawian farmers by letting out tent camping pitches during August with all the camping fees being donated to Tiyeni to benefit the cause. They thought they might be able to raise as much as £900. But then the pitch bookings continued into September and…………….
The family smashed their target by raising and amazing £1369.00
